Team India will take on defending champions Australia in the second semifinal of the 2025 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup on Thursday, October 30 at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. The two teams also faced each other in the league stage of the tournament earlier this month, where the ‘Women in Blue’ suffered a heartbreaking three-wicket defeat in a high-scoring cracker in Vizag.

While Team India will be eying to secure just their third-ever spot in a World Cup final, serial World Cup winners Australia are on a rampant path to clinch their record eighth title. Ahead of the high-octane semifinal, here is where astrology places the prospects of both sides.

Excerpt Scientific Astrologer Greenstone Lobo believes that India Women’s team, under the leadership of Harmanpreet Kaur, might well stun defending champions and hitherto unbeaten Australia in the semifinal of the 2025 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup.

Acknowledging Australia captain Alyssa Healy’s injury and uncertainty over playing the semifinal, Greenstone believes that the Australian players have already “exhausted their karmic quota” by winning so many major tournaments. As quoted by the Times of India, he said:

“What a phenomenal chance for the Indian girls to do something historic. Harmanpreet Kaur and company are poised to do something which no other Indian girls have done before. Australia’s Alyssa Healy, born in 1990, stands in between India and the final — but the cosmic balance is shifting.”


“Their horoscopes are phenomenal. Many of them have Neptune and Pluto in strong positions, which has made them natural winners for decades. But this also means they’ve exhausted much of their karmic quota. They’ve won so many tournaments — they’re due a fall.”

Greenstone Lobo added that senior Indian players like captain Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues and Deepti Sharma have their “karmic quota” still intact as they are yet to win a major tournament. He even claims that the current Australian team is vulnerable and Harmanpreet’s troops have it in them to whip out a stunner. He stated:

“Look at Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma — they haven’t won major tournaments yet. Their karmic quota is intact. Most of these girls are grey lizards, born with Pluto in 8 to 16 degrees. Grey lizards overcome impossible odds — it’s David versus Goliath all over again.”
