Pakistani cricketer Imam-ul-Haq recently tied the knot with Anmol Mehmood in Lahore. As one can expect, the wedding ceremony was graced by a number of cricketing personalities, including Imam’s uncle and former chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq as well as active players Usman Qadir, Sarfaraz Ahmed and Kamran Akmal.

The wedding turned out to be a significant occasion, garnering significant attention on social media.

As Anmol Mehmood braces herself to immerse in cricket’s entertainment spectrum, her husband Imam recently directed fans and followers to her only social media account.

Imam-ul-Haq warns fans against fake profiles

Pakistan batsman Imam-ul-Haq recently warned his fans and followers to be wary of fake social media profiles created in the name of his wife Anmol Mehmood. The cricketer directed them to Anmol’s only social media account, on Instagram, and stated that she does not have any other account on any other platform. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Imam wrote:

“Guys please note that my wife doesn’t have any Twitter/other social media IDs except this Instagram account.”

Fresh from his lavish wedding ceremony, Imam-ul-Haq will soon return to the field for national duty as he is one of the 18 Pakistan players selected to tour Australia in December.

The Pakistan cricket team, under new skipper Shan Masood, will engage in a three-match Test battle against the hosts. The three Tests will also form a part of the ongoing 2023–25 ICC World Test Championship (WTC).

The opening match of the series is set to commence at the iconic Perth Stadium on December 14.
