Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav left spectators in awe with his signature ramp-flick shot during the third T20 International against Australia in Guwahati.

With India in a difficult position after the dismissals of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ishan Kishan, Surya, who had only scored a single run from nine balls, suddenly shifted the game's momentum.

The moment of magic arrived in the fifth over, bowled by Nathan Ellis. Facing a leg-stump half-volley, Yadav displayed his remarkable ability to innovate. He positioned himself low and inside the line of the ball, expertly getting his head out of the way.

What followed was an exceptional ramp flick, sending the ball soaring over deep fine leg for a six. This audacious shot not only kick-started Surya's innings but also brought much-needed stability to the Indian batting line-up.

The brilliance of Yadav's shot was not lost on Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who took to Twitter to express his admiration. Ashwin's tweet captured the essence of Yadav's batting brilliance.

"I have watched him play this shot so many times, but the thrill it gives me while I watch it is the same every single time. #incredible #indvsaust20,” wrote Ashwin.

Meanwhile, Surya's inventiveness came at a crucial time for the Indian team. Alongside Ruturaj Gaikwad, he helped to steady the innings, propelling the team to a more comfortable 80/2 at the halfway mark of the innings. This partnership has laid the foundation for India to aim for a substantial total and they will look to keep the momentum going in the middle overs.
