'You Will See Positive Results': Hafeez Confident Of Achieving Results In Australian Conditions

After the World Cup 2023 debacle, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) sacked the whole support staff and appointed new members for every position. The newly appointed director, Mohammad Hafeez believes in getting positive results from the Australia tour.

The former Pakistan captain, Mohammad Hafeez is appointed as the director of the men's team, while Wahab Riaz is appointed as the chief selector of the team. The management also urged Babar to give up captaincy and appointed Shaheen Shah Afridi as the T20I captain. On the other hand, Shan Masood has been appointed as the captain of the Test team. 

Shan Masood will be in action as the captain in the upcoming Test series against Australia, While Shaheen Shah Afridi will be leading the team for the first time in January on the New Zealand tour. 

The director-coach of the Pakistan team, Hafeez addressed the press today and shared his vision for the team starting from the Australia tour. 


Hafeez on expectations from the Australia tour:

"We are not going to Australia just to play matches and come back without results. We are going there to win matches for Pakistan and you will see positive results."

Team Pakistan will soon be off to Australia for a three-match Test series for the World Test Championship cycle 2023-2025. With a few new guys coming into the team, this team lacks a bit of experience but not the talent. With Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf not in the team, the bowling line-up doesn't seem too effective. 

But Mohammad Hafeez shows confidence in this team and believes that they will be achieving some positive results during their time in Australia.
