[Watch] Suryakumar Yadav's Failed 'Supla Shot' Gives Aaron Hardie His First T20I Wicket

Suryakumar Yadav is the number 1 T20I batter in the world and his consistency in the T20 format is quite astonishing. He started the T20I series with a splendid match-winning knock of 80 and in the third T20I at Guwahati, he looked in great touch again as he slammed 39 off 29 balls. 

However, just when he tried to explode further, Aaron Hardie, the young Aussie all-rounder got the better of him with a sharp shortish delivery. It was a shortish delivery on off and SKY tried a supla shot. However, the ball caught the outside edge of his blade and Wade behind the stump took a fine catch.

It was the first T20I wicket for the talented Aaron Hardie and it was a crucial breakthrough for Australia, as the partnership between Suryakumar Yadav and Ruturaj Gaikwad was taking the game away from Australia.

India lost two wickets early when they were reduced for 24-2 in the third over but SKY delivered a counter-attacking punch and brought India back on the track. The pitch though is quite good to bat on, and India need a big total in the first innings, to put Ausies under pressure during the run-chase.
