Rohit Sharma was left amused once again on the field as the controversy erupted after a DRS changed the on-field decision of out to not out. It was supposed to be the 500th wicket for Ravi Ashwin in Test cricket, but the celebration was cut short which led to a slight frustration for Indian players.

It was the fifth delivery of the 63rd over and Ashwin bowled a nice loopy delivery on off. Hartley tried to revere-sweep it but did not get proper connection on it and KS Bharat behind the stumps took a sharp catch. The Indian players went up in appeal and the umpire gave it out. However, Hartley was quick to review it.

The replays rolled in and it showed that there is no bat and ball has hit the arm of Tom Hartley. The third umpire then checked for the LBW as according to the rules of the game, batter can be given out even the ball hits anywhere in the line of the stumps. However, there too, India ended up falling on the wrong side as the impact showed umpire's call.

Ashwin got big wickets of Duckett, Root and Ollie Pope in the second innings, all crucial ones for India as England were batting very positively in their 399-run chase.

Tom Hartley has batted quite well and is keeping hopes alive for England, even though India are just a single wicket away from levelling the series at Vizag.
