Indian captain Rohit Sharma received an adorable message from his five-year-old daughter Samaira when the cricketer was interacting with fans at an event in Dallas. During the live streaming of the event on social media, Samaira’s message can be visibly spotted through the account of Sharma’s wife Ritika Sajdeh.

The Indian skipper recently led Team India to a historic 2024 T20 World Cup win by defeating South Africa in a hard-fought final in Barbados on June 29.

Rohit Sharma gets message from Samaira on live streaming

Rohit Sharma interacted with fans during a special event in Dallas. As it turned out, the event was also live streamed on social media.

Among the many messages posted by fans during the streaming, an adorable message was also posted by Rohit Sharma’s five-year-old daughter Samaira, albeit through the account of her mother Ritika Sajdeh.

The message reads:“Hi dada Sammy here”

During the conference, Rohit Sharma also teased his ODI and Test playing future for Team India, claiming that the fans will indeed see him play more competitive cricket “for a while”. Back on June 29, the legendary opening batter announced his retirement from T20Is, shortly after leading the Indian team to victory at the 2024 T20 World Cup.

Following his T20I retirement, Rohit Sharma has now been rested by the BCCI from India’s upcoming white-ball tour of Sri Lanka. As per several reports, the 37-year-old will likely make his return to international setup for India’s two-match Test series at home against the visiting Bangladesh team in September this year.
