Colombo Strikers and Galle Marvels to collide in the penultimate league match (match number 19) of the ongoing LPL 2024 season on July 15. The much-awaited contest will be hosted by the iconic R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo and the action will commence from 7:30 PM IST onwards.

Galle Marvels

Galle Marvels have registered five wins from just seven league fixtures so far in the season to be placed at the top of the LPL 2024 points table. They also defeated Colombo Strikers by seven runs earlier in the tournament.

Galle Marvels all-rounder Isuru Udana has emerged as their most prolific bowler of the season, having snapped 11 wickets from just seven innings to lead the LPL 2024 wicket-taking charts. His form, coupled with Zahoor Khan and Maheesh Theekshana’s presence will start out as a key factor for Galle Marvels’ chances against the Colombo Strikers. 

Similarly, their overseas stars Alex Hales and Tim Seifert have stacked up the most runs among all Galle Marvels batters in the ongoing tournament. In a bid to finish strong in the league stage, the franchise will once again look up to their two explosive batters to deliver the goods.
