Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has once again embraced his love for the Kabaddi sport. On Monday, July 28; the cricketer appeared in an exciting commercial, where he can be seen hyping up the upcoming 12th edition of the Pro Kabaddi League (KBL).
It is worth noting that Hardik Pandya also joined the PKL craze back in late-2023 to promote the 10th edition.
Hardik Pandya “Breathes Kabaddi” In New Promo
Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has once again appeared in a commercial for PKL, this time for the upcoming 2025 edition of the tournament. In a short 20-second video shared by Star Sports India, the official broadcasters of the league, Pandya can be seen urging Indian sports lovers to support Kabaddi the same way they embrace cricket in the country.
He says:
“My heart beats for cricket, I breathe Kabaddi. When both meet, that’s when the real fun begins. Now watch cricket, after that Kabaddi.”
Hardik Pandya also similarly appeared in a promo for the PKL 2023 season back in December 2023 a couple of years ago. Nonetheless, the PKL 2025 season is set to launch from August 25 onwards.
When Will Hardik Pandya Return To Field?
Hardik Pandya is currently enjoying his time away from the game. The cricketer recently represented the Mumbai Indians franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season. Under his leadership, the Mumbai Indians reached the second qualifier of the tournament, only to lose out to a spirited Punjab Kings unit.
As of now, Hardik Pandya will likely be making his return to competitive cricket in Team India’s planned white-ball tour of Sri Lanka in August. The tour itself is intended to make up for India’s postponed trip to Bangladesh citing prevailing political crises in the country.
Since Hardik Pandya last played for Team India back in March this year during the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, the upcoming series against Sri Lanka will mark his return to international colors after a gap of nearly five months.
