In the latest initiative to foster and promote T20 cricket in Delhi, DDCA is set to host the Delhi Premier League in men’s and women’s formats this month.

The inaugural season will consist of six teams, namely Purani Dilli 6, South Delhi Superstars, East Delhi Riders, Central Delhi Kings, North Delhi Strikers, and West Delhi Lions.

The men’s tournament will kick off on August 17, with the finale scheduled for September 8. Moreover, a total of 33 matches will be played, with the afternoon matches commencing at 2.00 PM and the evening games starting at 7.00 PM at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Having said that, the women’s tournament, comprising four teams—the East Delhi Riders, Central Delhi Queens, South Delhi Superstars, and North Delhi Strikers—will also unfold around the same time at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in a seven-game contest.

Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant is among the notable names who have signed up for the inaugural season of the Delhi Premier League. 

How to purchase DPL 2024 tickets?

Delhi Premier League 2024 season is set to be entirely hosted at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Fans from Delhi can access tickets for the games from Paytm insider app. 

A user can log in with either their mobile number or email credentials. After you tap on the DPL logo, options to buy tickets for each game will be displayed.

Notably, the tickets are priced at INR, 50, 100, 150, 499, 2000, 2500 and 3000 depending upon the nature of stands. 

Once a user selects the seats that are available, the number of tickets will be added to the cart and then purchased by confirming email credentials. Upon successful payment, the digital tickets will be sent to the user via email.
