Pakistan U19 delivered a commanding performance in the final, defeating India U19 by a massive 191-run margin in the recently concluded U19 Asia Cup finals on December 23, 2025. The victory marked Pakistan’s second U19 Asia Cup title and their first since 2012.
After the victory, the ‘Men in Green’ celebrated the historic Asia Cup 2025 triumph with celebrations that quickly went viral on social media. The players were seen dancing to the popular track 'FA9LA' from the Indian movie 'Dhurandhar'.

Following the victory, Pakistan's young stars were seen celebrating and dancing to the viral song 'FA9LA'. The video, which shows players performing the popular hook step together and the video went viral across social media platforms.
Though official confirmation of the video's origin is limited, fans widely shared the clip on social media.
It is important to mention that the celebrations continued back home as the U19 squad received a grand welcome in Islamabad.
Hundreds of fans gathered near the airport to greet the players with flowers, loud cheers, and chants, celebrating a victory that brought pride after years of mixed results against India at various levels.
Dominant batting sets the tone for Pakistan U19
Pakistan laid the foundation with a mammoth batting display, posting 347/8 in 50 overs after being asked to bat first. Opener Sameer Minhas stole the spotlight with a sensational 172 off just 113 balls.
Minhas reached his century in only 71 balls, eventually registering the highest individual score ever in a U19 Asia Cup final. His knock powered Pakistan to a total that proved far beyond India’s reach.

Chasing the target, India’s highly rated batting line-up crumbled under relentless pressure from Pakistan’s bowlers. The Ayush Mhatre-led side lost five wickets within the first 10 overs, never recovering from the early damage. India were eventually bowled out for 156.
Despite entering the final unbeaten and aiming for a record-extending ninth U19 Asia Cup title, India failed to rise to the occasion. The defeat stands as the second-largest loss by runs in an U19 Asia Cup final.
