Pakistan Under-19 thrashed arch-rivals India in a one-sided final to lift the 2025 Under-19 Asia Cup title in Dubai. The outcome marked Pakistan’s only second Under-19 Asia Cup silverware, and their first in over a decade after sharing the trophy with India in Malaysia back in 2012.
Here, we take a look back at all past Under-19 Asia Cup winners ever since the inception of the tournament in 1989.
U19 Asia Cup winners over the years
The inaugural edition of the Under-19 Asia Cup took place in December 1989 in Bangladesh under the moniker of the 1989 ‘Asia Youth Cup’. The week-long three-team event was won by an unbeaten Indian side under the leadership of Ranjib Biswal, with future stars like Sourav Ganguly, Ajay Jadeja and Vinod Kambli accompanying the skipper.
It took the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) another 14 years to stage the second edition of the Under-19 Asia Cup, doing so in 2003, before taking another nine-year hiatus.
Nonetheless, in light of Pakistan's 2025 win, here is a look at the list of all Under-19 Asia Cup winners throughout the 12 editions of the tournament organised thus far.
