Pakistan Under-19 pulverized arch-rivals India to lift the 2025 Under-19 Asia Cup. Sameer Minhas hogged the limelight with the bat by tonking a scintillating century earlier in the game.

Here, we take a look at the entire highlights of the tenth match of the 2025 Under-19 Asia Cup between India Under-19 and Pakistan Under-19, as it panned out at the ICC Academy in Dubai on Tuesday, December 16.

Sameer Minhas bolts Pakistan Under-19 to 347

Pakistan opener Sameer Minhas smashed 172 from just 113 balls with 17 fours and nine sixes. The blistering opening batter forged an attacking 92-run partnership with Usman Khan (35 off 45), and another 137 runs with half-centurion Ahmed Hussain (56 from 72) as Pakistan Under-19 mounted 347-8 in 50 overs.

For India Under-19, fast bowler Deepesh Devendran picked up three wickets, all during the slog overs including the prized scalp of centurion Minhas, albeit at an expense of 83 runs. Henil Patel (2-62) and Khilan Patel (2-44) chipped in with two wickets each, with the latter of the two unfurling the spell of the high-scoring innings.

Suryavanshi misfires, Ali Raza douses India Under-19 with four-fer

Indian opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi clubbed 26 off just 10 balls at the top of the order, but his brief cameo amounted little to Team India’s cause as the ‘Boys in Blue’ folded up for just 156 in 26.2 overs. Tailender Deepesh Devendran launched a few sixes in his fiery 16-ball 36 to top-score in the innings, as captain Ayush Mhatre and others failed to make a match out of Pakistan’s 347.

For Pakistan, Ali Raza packed four Indian wickets to claim figures of 4-42. Mohammad Sayyam, Abdul Subhan and Huzaifa Ahsan also struck twice each in their respective spells as Pakistan Under-19 clinched the 2025 Under-19 Asia Cup by a record 191-run margin in the final.
