In exciting news for all cricket fans and game lovers, Australia's gaming giants, Big Ants Studios, have dropped the first trailer for their upcoming cricket game - 'Cricket 26: The official game of Ashes'. The upcoming video game is all set to hit the markets on November 20, a day prior to the first Test between England and Australia in Perth.

It will be after two years that a cricket video game has been announced for the fans, and the trailer has received a positive response since going public. Notably, Cricket Australia took to its official Twitter account to share the 30-second-long teaser.

Here's what's included in the teaser

Revamped career mode

The trailer opens with a high featuring Shoaib Bashir in the dressing room, hinting at the revamped player and manager career mode, which now possibly features an open-world, contrary to earlier versions, which had no dressing room cuts.

CSK licensed

The trailer also featured the Chennai Super Kings and their updated jerseys. The fans praised the upgraded models and graphics as the players looked good and more realistic compared to the past version.

New bowling actions and celebrations

As promised, the trailer also featured updated bowling actions, revamped fielding actions, and new celebrations. Further, the trailer also featured a still of a pink-ball Test, hinting at a new change in Cricket 26.

Dynamic weather

Cricket will feature overcast and gloomy weather, and the feature has been confirmed by Ross Simons, the head of Big Ant Studios.

Why do the trailer lacks Indian teams?

Notably, the studio confirmed that most of their licenses are under review, which is why they couldn't feature those teams in the trailer. Thus, the trailer lacks IPL teams such as MI and KKR. Notably, in Cricket 24, there were eight licensed teams, but for Cricket 26, it is unclear whether RCB have given them the rights to use their name or not.

Further, it is confirmed that Team India won't be licensed in this edition, and the fans have to wait longer to see the Shubman Gill-led side in the game.
