Cricket 26 game announced with jaw-dropping screenshots; Check full features

On Wednesday, October 23, Australia-based video-game giants Big Ant Studios announced their new project, 'Cricket 26', a successor to the Ashes 2024 game. The game is all set to be released on November 20, a day ahead of the five-match Test series between England and Australia on November 21.

The fans were waiting for the game for a long time, and the studio has finally dropped multiple screenshots, revealing the details and changes for the upcoming version. The gaming giants dropped 10 screenshots, giving away massive hints. 

Hints given away through screenshots

1. New Lighting and Stadium

The fans complained about poor stadium lighting and overall stadiums in the previous game, but this time around, Big Ants dropped two screenshots featuring IPL, where they highlighted the new Mullanpur Stadium, the home ground of PBKS and its dynamic red lighting under the shades.

2.Enhanced fielding

One of the stills also shows England players with new animations for fielding efforts, which hints at massive changes towards how a player reacts during the field, which includes catching, throwing and also diving. 

3. Celebrations

One major missing element during Cricket 24 was the boring celebrations after a milestone. However, the latest stills show BBL batters celebrating in style and also include real-life celebrations like how Travis Head celebrates after scoring a century.

Even for the bowlers, Mitchell Starc and Jofra Archer were seen celebrating their fifer with a typical celebration, which features waving the red-ball towards the crowd and leading the team to the dug-out.

Besides these anticipated features, the production house also released the list of confirmed features.
