Indian cricket star Smriti Mandhana is all set to begin a beautiful new chapter in her life as she marries music composer Palash Muchhal on November 23, 2025. And the couple received a special wish from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Mandhana, coming off the Women’s World Cup title victory, is set to marry director and music composer Palash Mucchal in a close-knit ceremony on November 23.

In an official letter from the Prime Minister’s Office, PM Modi congratulated Smriti and Palash and sent his warm wishes to both families.
He called their wedding an auspicious and joyous event and wished them a life full of harmony, love, and mutual understanding.

And to make it even more noteworthy, PM Modi made a poetic comparison of their worlds. He beautifully wrote that Smriti’s elegant cover drive now meets Palash’s musical symphony, creating a perfect partnership.
Adding a light-hearted touch, PM Modi also mentioned that a celebration cricket match has reportedly been planned between Team Groom and Team Bride.
Smriti-Palash to tie the knot after a long love affair
Interestingly, Smriti Mandhana has been dating Palash Muchhal for over five years now. It’s unclear how the duo met, but the spark hit off instantly.
Their relationship was confirmed through social media posts, and Palash was even seen celebrating Mandhana’s biggest wins on the field, including the Women’s World Cup win and RCB’s WPL title victory.
Palash Muchhal is a well-known name in the entertainment industry. He is a music composer and a director. His sister Palak Muchhal is also a popular singer widely known for delivering hit songs from movie ‘Aashiqui 2’.
