Indian cricketers Harleen Deol and Jemimah Rodrigues recently expressed their unprecedented excitement over the upcoming Mumbai concert of British rock band Coldplay. Both Deol and Rodrigues took to their Instagram account and shared a short locker room video where they can be seen performing one of Coldplay’s hit numbers.

Harleen Deol is currently out of action from competitive cricket as she sustained a knee injury during this year’s WPL 2024 season. Jemimah Rodrigues, on the other hand, is slated to represent the Indian cricket team in the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 in the UAE.

Deol and Rodrigues ‘comingggg to Mumbaiiii’

British rock band Coldplay will perform a two-day concert in Mumbai in mid-January next year. Indian women cricketers Harleen Deol and Jemimah Rodrigues, seemingly huge fans of the band, could not control their excitement as they shared a hilarious locker room clip on their Instagram account where they are seen performing a one of the band’s hit numbers.

In the caption, Deol and Rodrigues wrote:

“Its official guys, we’re comingggg to Mumbaiiii”


On the cricketing front, Harleen Deol has continued to remain on the sidelines ever since she sustained a knee injury while playing for the Gujarat Giants Women in this year’s WPL 2024 season. Back in May, she was seen chatting with Indian opening batter Shubman Gill during the IPL 2024 in Bengaluru.

Jemimah Rodrigues, meanwhile, has taken flight for UAE alongside the rest of her Indian colleagues for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. The Indian Women’s team, under the leadership of Harmanpreet Kaur, will face New Zealand in their opening match of the competition on October 4 at the Dubai International Stadium.
