In a heartwarming behind the scenes video doing rounds on social media, Indian cricketer KL Rahul greeted Rishabh Pant during the shoot of IPL 2024 season promotional advertisement. The duo shared excitement about their respective roles and shared a heartening laugh together.

Preparations for the IPL 2024 season carnival are in full swing. With less than two weeks to go for the opening game, JioCinema, the official broadcasting partner, released a promotional advertisement featuring all the mega stars of Indian cricket.

Meanwhile, KL Rahul who also featured in the ad, shared a BTS video of the shoot on his Instagram handle. In the video, he is seen greeting Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant in the vanity van.

KL said how he is being assigned the role of a college boy and enquired Pant about his role in the advertisement. To this, Pant revealed that he is asked to play a sardar at a Dhaba. The duo shared a heartening laugh and Rahul continued with his shoot.

That being said, The genuine warmth and camaraderie between the two players were evident, reflecting the strong bonds that often develop within cricket teams.

Meanwhile, KL Rahul, currently recovering from a quadriceps injury, is expected to be fit for the impending IPL season. Rahul is the captain of Lucknow Super Giants, and his presence is of utmost significance to the team.

On the other hand, Rishabh Pant will make his comeback to the cricket field after a year and a half’s absence due to a near-fatal road accident. He will lead Delhi Capitals but could only be seen as a batter and not a wicket-keeper. The concerns surrounding his overall fitness will keep him away from behind the wickets for the near future.

IPL 2024 season will commence from March 22 with the opening game scheduled between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
