Indian singer and music composer Rahul Vaidya seems to have ended his short-lived feud against legendary batter Virat Kohli. While Kohli blocked Vaidya from Instagram earlier this month, the cricketer recently unblocked the singer, prompting the latter to thank the former Indian captain.

It is worth noting that Vaidya responded to a patriotic story shared by Kohli, in which the cricketer can be seen praising the Indian Armed Forces for their swift response against Pakistan at the height of India’s cross-border tensions.

Rahul Vaidya ends feud with Virat Kohli

On May 17, Rahul Vaidya re-shared Virat Kohli’s patriotic Instagram post about Indian Armed Forces on his story. Along with the re-share, the Indian singer thanked the cricketer for unblocking him from the app.

Vaidya also described Virat Kohli as “one of the best batsman cricket has ever seen”, and called him the pride of the nation.


Earlier this month, Rahul Vaidya fell on Virat Kohli’s blacklist after the Indian singer joked about the cricketer’s excuse about accidentally “liking” Instagram pictures of Indian actress Avneet Kaur.

Vaidya was subjected to some severe trolling from Kohli fans across all social media platforms. Even Kohli’s brother, Vikas Kohli, jumped in and thrashed the singer for his rude remarks on his brother at a time when the nation was going through a turmoil with Pakistan.

Nonetheless, Virat Kohli is currently plying his trade for the RCB franchise in IPL 2025. With 505 runs from 11 innings, he has emerged as one of the leading run-getters of the season.

Moreover, Kohli has also played an influential role in taking RCB to the brink of qualification.
