If someone is the unluckiest cricketer among the current players, he is none other than Yuzvendra Chahal. Chahal, who missed out on the 2023 World Cup, wasn't even picked for the ongoing Asia Cup, where the teams were allowed to have a 17-man squad.

He has been replaced by his close mate, Kuldeep Yadav. Having two wily spinners in Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep, the Indian team could not have been gone with Chahal.

Meanwhile, following the heartbreaking World Cup snub, Chahal has joined Kent for the club's remaining fixtures in the County Championship.

In the ongoing County Championship, Chahal has signed up to play for Kent for the upcoming games against Nottinghamshire, Lancashire and Somerset.

This will be an excellent opportunity for Chahal, as it will provide him with a chance to revive his career. A few days back, swashbuckling southpaw Sai Sudharsan was signed up by Surrey to play the remaining matches.

Kent Cricket has welcomed the wily tweaker to feature in the remaining matches. The leg-spinner has achieved so much for Indian cricket in the last few years and has shown his eagerness to play the longest format in many interviews.
