In a big news coming from Gujarat Titans camp, Ashish Nehra, the head coach of the franchise since 2022 and Vikrant Solanki, director of cricket are likely to leave the franchise ahead of the IPL 2025. Yuvraj Singh's name is being considered for the head coach role, but the final decision on the matter is yet to be taken according to a report from Sports18.

Recently, Gary Kirsten, the mentor of Gujarat Titans left the franchise for a role as head coach in Pakistan team and now two big names are likely to leave the franchise as well. There are also reports that Adani Group would buy franchise’s stake, so it seems that there are going to be some wholesome changes in the franchise ahead of the mega-auction for the 2025 season.

However, the name of Yuvraj Singh as a head coach is quite a big revelation as he has not yet been associated with any IPL team after his retirement, and if he does become the coach, it would be interesting to see how he goes about his business and team-up with captain Shubman Gill, another Punjab lad.

End Of Ashish Nehra's Successful Stint

Ashish Nehra’s departure marks a very successful initial phase of the franchise’s history where Nehra and Hardik Pandya, the captain of the franchise for the 2022 and 2023 seasons, took them to consecutive finals. They won their inaugural IPL season, and all GT fans would be hoping that Gill-Yuvraj Singh combo if it does materialize, can take forward the legacy.
