Which Non-Indian Country Has Highest Number Of Registered Players In IPL 2025 Mega Auction?

The IPL 2025 mega auction is all set to take place at Jeddah in Saudi Arabia on November 24 and 25. It is going to be a massive exercise with total of 1574 players registered for the auction. There are 1,165 Indian players while 409 are the overseas players in the list. The list also included 30 players from associate nations while there are 1224 uncapped players and 320 capped players.

Out of the 409 overseas players, 272 are capped players there are 104 uncapped international players. Also, there are three uncapped internationals who have played IPL before and total of 204 spots can be filled with each franchise allowed to include maximum of 25 players in their squad.

South Africa Leads The Overseas Registered Players List

If we consider the list country-wise, then South African players lead the list this time around with total 91 registered players. Second in the list is Australia with 76 players and third is England with 52 registered players. New Zealand and West Indies have 39 and 33 players respectively while Afghanistan and Sri Lanka have 33 players each.

Italy and UAE will also have one player each in the upcoming mega auction while Canada has four. USA who qualified for Super 8 in the recent T20 World Cup will have 10 players in the auction.

So, overall 16 countries will be represented in auction apart from India and it promises to be an exciting affair with plenty of surprises along the way.
