Ahead of the highly-anticipated Border Gavaskar Trophy, India star batter KL Rahul was seen hitting the Melbourne Cricket Ground's net on November 6. The elegant batter flew a week earlier to Australia along with Dhruv Jurel to play the unofficial second Test between India A and Australia A, starting November 7.

KL Rahul came earlier to gain some match time and practice hard as they will face Australia in the five-Test series on Australian soil. This series will be all-important tour for Men In Blue as this will decide India's chances to qualify for the World Test Championship 2025 final

In a video shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, KL Rahul was seen hitting hard in the nets, and the middle-order batter was seen practising pull-shot in the clip and donning the orange jersey.

KL Rahul's Record In Australia

KL Rahul had a tough time in the recently concluded series against New Zealand; in the First Test in Bengaluru, he scored 12 runs. He was then rested in the Pune and Mumbai Tests, where India failed to win, and New Zealand made history, completing an amazing series clean sweep in three-match Test series.

Rahul has been under the hammer; he has not scored a Test century since the last Test series against South Africa last December. KL Rahul is expected to play in the five-Test series against Australia as he has a modest record in Australia. The Bengaluru batter scored 187 runs in 9 innings, including one century.

India will face Australia in the first Test, starting from November 22 in Perth.
