To the delight of cricket fans across the globe, the much-awaited SA20 2025 auction will be conducted on Tuesday, October 1, in Cape Town. SA20 is South Africa's premier global T20 league, which began in 2022. 

It's a six-team competition held in the rainbow nation during South Africa's cricketing calendar. The tournament's third edition will be played between January 9 and February 8 next year. 

This will be the tournament's third season, and the franchises are looking forward to assembling a robust squad ahead of the competition. The SA20 governing committee revealed the list of registered players, who will be hoping to attract bidders in the auction. More than 180 players, including 115 South Africans and 73 foreigners, have registered for the much-anticipated event as the teams will look to fill the vacancies in their squads.

The SA20 2025 auction will be held on October 1 in Cape Town. The bidding process will begin at 4.15 PM local time (7.45 PM IST).
