Sunday, November 24, will mark day 1 of the two-day IPL 2025 mega auction event set to be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. 577 players will undergo the hammer in these two days as the mega event will start at 3:30 pm IST. 

While the fans are updated with the proceedings of the flow of the mega auction, this article will shed light on everything you need to know about action on day 1 of the mega auction. 

What Time Will Mega Auction Start On Day 1? 

The action on day 1 will start at 3:30 PM IST and 1:00 PM (Local Time). 

How Many Players Will Undergo The Hammer On Day 1?

Out of the 577 players, only 84 players will go under the hammer on day 1. It includes the 12 marquee players, who are likely to fetch the most amount and take the most time. 

It is worth noting that the two sets of marquee players would be the first to be sold off, and then they would head for lunch. Following the lunch break, all capped batters, bowlers, and all-rounders will undergo the hammer. 

For day 1, only 12 sets of players are going to be covered. Further, The final set on Day 1 will feature the first uncapped players set. The remaining players would be covered on day 2.
