Yudhvir Singh Charak played for LSG in IPL 2023 and 2024 and was also part of the MI squad in IPL 2021. He is a talented bowler from Jammu and Kashmir, and has done well in domestic cricket too. Thus, RR decided to pick him in IPL 2025 mega auction and bought him for 35 Lakhs and in the game against CSK, he has finally shown his talent with two wickets in a single over.

In the 62nd match of IPL 2025, Chennai Super Kings are up against Rajasthan Royals. Sanju Samson won the toss and decided to bowl first. He brought in Yudhvir Singh Charak in place of Fazalhaq Farooqi and the bowler has delivered big time. In the second over of the match he removed Devon Conway on the fourth ball and then sent back dangerous Urvil Patel for a duck on the final ball.
The pacer then came back in his second spell and got the better of Ravindra Jadeja too, as CSK were reduced to 78 for five in the eighth over. Overall, Yudhvir Singh Charak picked 26 wickets in 36 matches before the game against CSK. In List A cricket, he has bagged 18 wickets in 15 matches while in first-class cricket, he has 29 wickets in 11 matches.
Also, in the three matches before the game against CSK, Yudhvir Singh managed only one wicket, and the performance in this game might help him get retained for the next season.
