In an another shake-up in the venue of IPL 2025, BCCI has shifted the match number 65 of IPL 2025 between RCB and SRH has been moved from Bengaluru to Lucknow. The reason for the shift is heavy rains in Bengaluru that has led to massive flooding in many parts of Karnataka Capital.
RCB Lose Home Game Due To Heavy Rains In Bengaluru
The match between RCB and SRH was slated to be played on May 23, but there is yellow alert in Bengaluru leading upto the match day, and thus BCCI has decided to not take any risk. It has been raining continuously in South India over the past week and the last game at the Bengaluru between RCB and KKR on May 17 was also abandoned.
It has been understood that RCB team has not been able to practice since then, and they were informed on Tuesday about the change in venue of their next match. The development means that RCB fans will miss out on a home game and they would now play their last two matches of the league stage at the Ekana Stadium.
