The 61st match of IPL 2025 between LSG and SRH at the Ekana Stadium turned out to be a disappointing affair for the home team. SRH beat them by six wickets and as a result, Rishabh Pant's boys are out of the playoffs race. However, the match will also be remembered for the fight between two young Indian players - Abhishek Sharma and Digvesh Rathi.

The incident happened when Digvesh Rathi got the wicket of rampant Abhishek Sharma in the 10th over. Sharma was looking good for a big one, but Rathi got the better of him at a score of 59, and then came up with an aggressive send-off. It did not go well with Abhishek Sharma and the duo were involved in a heated altercation.

Thus, after the match, one of the most experienced and reputed BCCI official, Rajeev Shukla decided to intervene. In the photo that is going viral on social media, Rajeev Shukla who is currently the vice-president of BCCI is seen talking with Abhishek Sharma, while Digvesh Rathi is also listening to SRH batter's explanation.

In the end, it seems that Shukla managed to end the fight between the two as Abhishek and Digvesh were seen exchanging smiles and hugging each other. Both of them are important players for their team and Digvesh Rathi, especially, has been quite impressive in his debut IPL season, bowling with great composure against best of the batters.

Abhishek Sharma has not been at his best in IPL 2025, but he has still done better than other SRH batters, and would be looking to end the season on a high with big performances in the last two matches.
