Cricket fans in Pakistan are ecstatic right now because the Pakistan Super League (PSL) draft is scheduled for December 13. However, in between, Sarfaraz Ahmed, the captain of the Quetta Gladiators, got into a heated argument that he would rather not have been a part of.

To make matters worse, Saud Shakeel, a former Gladiator teammate, was the man Sarfaraz engaged in an unwanted conversation with.

It all happened during a training session in Canberra, where Pakistan are currently preparing to go up against Australia in a three-match Test series. In his native language, Shakeel first started the conversation by saying, ‘For how long will I continue to be of use to you?’ Sarfaraz replied, ‘You won't be of any use to me. To begin with, I never instructed you to do anything. I never requested that you make a swap. I swapped with the person I intended to.’

Shakeel finished the conversation by saying, ‘You still made the swap, so I was beneficial to you.’

Although Shakeel's previous whereabouts remain unknown, it is certain that the 28-year-old has not yet made his PSL debut.

Before the three-match series, Pakistan will play a four-day practice against Prime Minister’s XI, starting from December 6. There, both Shakeel and Sarfaraz are expected to be actions, and it will be interesting to see how they behave on the field if they remain at the crease at the same time.
