Jasprit Bumrah engineered an emphatic Indian victory against England on Day 4 of the Vizag Test. The speedster claimed three wickets in the innings, to finish with sizzling figures of 9-91 in the match as India levelled the five-match series 1-1 with three Tests to go.

While Bumrah was fittingly rewarded with the ‘Player of the Match’ honors, the 30-year-old paceman also rose to the number one position on the ICC rankings for Test bowlers.

As the cricketer continues to bask himself with much accolades and adulations, his unorthodox bowling action was recently replicated by a young English bowler and a short 16-second video of the same was shared by the official social media handle of England-based County Championship.

Jasprit Bumrah, meanwhile, will likely be given a rest from India’s third Test match against England. As per reports, the Indian team management and the selection committee are aiming to give the speedster a breathing space amidst his hectic cricketing calendar.

Bumrah delivered more than 33 overs combined across both innings of the Vizag Test, and also bowled nearly 25 overs in the series opener at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in late January.

India will now face England in the third Test of the five-match series at Rajkot’s Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium. The much-awaited fixture is set to be played between February 15 and February 19.
