Virat Kohli was seen continuing his post-match routine of indulging in a light conversation with opposition players after India's win in the second T20I of the series against Afghanistan on Sunday (January 14) in Indore. The great batter was seen chatting with wicketkeeper and opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz and famed spinner Rashid Khan

In a clip that went viral on Twitter, Kohli could be seen giving tips to Gurbaz after the Afghanistan player reached out to the Indian batting maestro following his successive failures in the series. Gurbaz, who was looking in majestic touch in the previous assignment versus the UAE, has made scores of 23 off 28 and 14 off 9 against the hosts.

Rashid, who is missing the action due to injury, then joined the two players and just admired Kohli's attitude and willingness to help his Afghani counterpart, who was not going to let the rare opportunity to interact with the modern-day stalwart go away.

Kohli Seen Giving Tips To Gurbaz

Even though the results haven't come their way, Afghanistan's historic maiden bilateral series against India has been a great opportunity for the inexperienced giant-killers to interact and gain input from their more-fancied rivals.

Kohli, who has always been keen to catch up with opposition players, was one of the first to go up and meet with one of the Afghanistan players, as Gurbaz presumably sought the man's advice on how to resurrect his failings for the series and to improve his overall game.

The Indore T20I was also personally a big one for the former India captain for making his return to the shortest format after 15 months since playing the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia.

The star batter struck a quickfire 29* off 12 deliveries and made his intentions clear for the build-up to the next edition of the biannual ICC event in June.
