RCB fans were over the moon ever since Smriti Mandhana lifted the WPL trophy after beating Delhi Capitals by eight wickets on Monday (March 18) during the final of the competition at Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Moments became wholesome when Virat Kohli gave a video call to Mandhana immediately after the much-awaited success. 

Now, keeping everything aside, Kohli and his RCB teammates have started to prepare for what they have been trying to lift for 17 years – the IPL title.

Kohli, who was not available during India’s five-match Test series against England joined the RCB camp recently for the coming edition, scheduled to begin on March 22. The tournament will kick off with RCB taking on Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at M. A. Chidambaram Stadium.

Kohli did not waste any time, as a recent video surfaced he was having a throwing practice in a light training session. In addition, he was seen playing football as well, and the man with whom he was having a fun session was no other than Glenn Maxwell, his long-standing friend, at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.
