Team India reached Kolkata on Friday, November 3, ahead of their next clash against South Africa, which is scheduled to be played on November 5 at Eden Gardens.

The Rohit Sharma-led side is on a winning streak, having won all seven matches they have played in the tournament. They are the only undefeated team in the World Cup so far.

Team India is entering this game after a resounding 302-run victory over Sri Lanka, which is also their biggest ever win in World Cup history.

Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, and Shreyas Iyer put on a dazzling display of batting prowess, each notching up an impressive half-century to drive India to a mammoth total of 357 runs while losing eight wickets.

Later, Mohammed Shami, with all his experience, absolutely terrorized the Sri Lankan batters, snagging a fabulous five-wicket haul while Mohammed Siraj chipped in with three wickets as Sri Lanka were all out for a mere 55 runs in 19.4 overs.

To sum it up, Team India is firing on all cylinders, with their batters in top form and their bowling unit striking fear into opponents. They must be eager to carry this momentum forward in the upcoming matches and maintain their unbeaten record in the tournament's group stage.
