A huge controversy erupted in the Women's Big Bash League match between the Melbourne Renegades and the Perth Scorchers, involving the star Indian cricketer Harmanpreet Kaur and Sophie Devine. This incident occurred on Friday, November 3, at the WACA Ground.

It all happened on the final ball of the third over of the Melbourne Renegades' innings. Harmanpreet Kaur was at the batting crease but was not ready when Sophie Devine delivered the ball. The Indian captain backed off and exchanged some words with Sophie Devine.

The furious Indian batter then went to the umpires, and they left it to the third umpire, who decided to call it a dead ball because Harmanpreet Kaur wasn't ready. Later, Sophie Devine had to bowl it again to complete her over, but this time, she confirmed if Harmanpreet was ready.

In the midst of all this, the commentators decided to chat with Beth Mooney, the wicket-keeper batter for the Perth Scorchers. She had a mic on, was behind the stumps, and saw it all go down.

Beth shared the inside scoop with the commentators about the verbal sparring between Harmanpreet Kaur and Sophie Devine, also owning up to having a touch of fear when it comes to Harmanpreet Kaur.

Here’s what Beth Mooney said:

"There's a bit of argy-bargy going on between Harmanpreet (Kaur) and Soph (Devine), and I'm actually not sure who would win that battle because Harmanpreet scares me a little bit.”

Harmanpreet Kaur went on to score 52 runs from 49 balls and remained unbeaten as the Melbourne Renegades posted a total of 171 runs, losing six wickets in 20 overs.
