The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) Unbox 2025 ceremony at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium was a spectacle, revealing the team's plans for IPL 2025. But though the ceremony included new player unveilings and thrilling announcements, the biggest star of the evening was RCB's designated troublemaker, Mr. Nags.
RCB hosted a grand unboxing event at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru ahead of the IPL 2025 season. Famous rapper Hanumankind performed at the ceremony as the team did a lap of honour to thank the fans for their support.
However, their lap of honour was hijacked by their mascot, Mr. Nags to pull everybody’s leg one by one.
Mr. Nags' Googly Leaves Krunal Pandya Stumped
With his wit and sarcastic digs, Mr. Nags was in full form at the unboxing event, catching RCB’s newest star, Krunal Pandya, off guard. During a lighthearted conversation, Mr. Nags asked Krunal how it felt to be around a "superstar."
Assuming that Nags was speaking about him, Krunal promptly replied confidently, only to be comically shut down. Mr. Nags refuted him, declaring, "No, no, I am talking about your brother."
The playful dig at Hardik Pandya, Krunal’s younger brother and captain of Mumbai Indians, had the fans in splits.
Nags didn’t even spare head coach Andy Flower. He pointed out how the team had already done a "victory lap" before actually winning a trophy. Flower, meanwhile, could only laugh.
Tim David, another big RCB signing, was also put on the spot. When asked how long he planned to stay with RCB, David smartly responded, "As long as you want.
Yash Dayal Gets A Gentle Reminder By Nags
Even Yash Dayal, who had a nightmare outing at Chinnaswamy in IPL 2023, wasn’t spared. Mr. Nags cheekily asked him if he was scared of bowling at the stadium again. But Dayal laughed off the question.
With such entertainment off the field, RCB fans will hope that the team can finally deliver on the field and break their long-standing IPL trophy drought.
