In a heartwarming video shared by KKR, Indian wicket-keeper and DC captain Rishabh Pant was seen congratulating Rinku Singh and Nitish Rana via video call for winning the IPL 2024 title at Chepauk on Sunday.

Rishabh Pant, making a return to the national side after a near-fatal crash, was selected as India's first-choice wicket-keeper for the upcoming 2024 T20 World Cup.

After Delhi Capitals crashed out of the playoff race, Pant joined the first batch of Indian players to depart for the USA for the T20 World Cup. The team boarded a flight on Saturday with Pant promising the paps to bring the trophy home.

Despite being a mile away, Rishabh Pant didn't forget to congratulate his close friends and colleagues Rinku Singh and Nitish Rana for the IPL 2024 title victory,

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) beat Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by eight wickets to claim their third league title on Sunday. 

Moreover, with teams waiting for the presentation to begin, many players were engaged in conversations with their family, friends and loved ones through their mobile phones.

Interestingly, Rishabh Pant also joined the celebrations as he FaceTimed Rinku and Nitish. Rana asked Rishabh if his travel was going smoothly, and Pant affirmed positively and congratulated the duo on winning the league.

Later, Rinku said that he would be flying on May 28 to join the team as a travelling reserve in his funny element, to which Pant burst into laughter as Rinku's crazy antics continued.

Rinku Singh unfortunately couldn't make it into the main 15-man squad due to combination issues. But regardless, he will stay as a reserve to step up in case of injuries.
