Ashutosh Sharma entered the field when Punjab 77/4 and hammered 61 runs off 28 balls including seven sixes and two fours with full support from Shashank Singh scoring 41 runs in 25 balls. 

Mumbai Indians bowlers, Jasprit Bumrah and Gerald Coetzee scalped two wickets providing crucial breakthroughs at the right time. The charismatic Mumbai Indians batter played a match-winning knock of 78 runs in 53 balls to propel MI to a winning total of 192 runs.

Suryakumar Yadav and Ashutosh Sharma In a Light-hearted Conversation

In an interview at Jio Cinema, Suryakumar Yadav highlighted that Ashutosh Sharma is not mini Surya and that the star batter has his individuality. He also appreciated Ashutosh for his explosive cameo against MI. 

"Ashutosh also played a brilliant knock. It was complete entertainment for the crowd. Got to learn a lot from him on how to bat in such situations and thankfully we are going from here with two points. Hopefully, we can continue the momentum."Suryakumar said.
