In what could be deemed as a relief for the MI fans, captain Hardik Pandya shared a heartwarming moment of camaraderie with ex-skipper Rohit Sharma in the backdrop of major brewing feud speculations.

Mumbai Indians won a close thriller against Punjab Kings yesterday in Chandigarh. 

In a 193-run chase, Ashutosh Sharma nearly pulled an unbelievable win for PBKS before MI death bowlers calmed their nerves to snatch back a nine-run victory.

That being said, after running the final batter, Kagiso Rabada, out, MI captain Hardik Pandya and ex-captain Rohit Sharma celebrated the narrow win together by sharing a warm and tight hug before the rest of the teammates joined the duo in celebrations. 

The interesting moment was caught on camera and went instantly viral on social media. Hardik and Rohit's camaraderie moment comes in the backdrop of split rumours. 

Since Hardik replaced Rohit as the captain of the franchise, rumours of a large-scale rift brewing between the two have made headlines.

Reportedly, the duo haven't been on the same page this year and have had several episodes of verbal escalations, which in turn soured the dressing room atmosphere.

Moreover, the fans fed on the unverified speculations to spread hate towards the franchise and the newly minted captain.

However, the latest visuals from Chandigarh suggest that Hardik Pandya and Rohit Sharma have buried hatches and have agreed on a truce for the betterment of Mumbai Indians.

After a rough start, MI are finally back to winning ways and are slowly climbing up in the points table as playoff race gets heated in the second half of the tournament.
