Nepal's premier batter Kushal Bhurtel showcased his extraordinary fielding skills during the first semifinal of the ongoing Asian T20 Cup against the United Arab Emirates. 

Hailed for his flamboyant stroke play, Bhurtel held on to a sensational running catch to dismiss Vishnu Sukumaran in this low-scoring clash. 

The incident occurred during the eighth over of UAE's innings when they had already got a solid start while chasing a modest target of 120 runs. 

Bowling his first over of the day, Gulshan Jha conceded seven runs, including a six, off his first five deliveries. However, he bounced back remarkably, dismissing the well-set Sukumaran to conclude the over. 

It was a good length ball angling away from Sukumaran, as the southpaw played a risky lofted shot. 

However, he couldn't get it past Burtel, who covered a significant distance to grab a stunning catch. 

But unfortunately for Nepal, his valiant fielding effort went in vain, with the UAE chasing the target inside 18 overs. Alishan Sharafu emerged as their game-changer with the bat, amassing 55 runs off 41 deliveries. 

With this win, the United Arab Emirates entered the final of the competition. On the other hand, Nepal will be up against the loser of Oman vs Hong Kong in the third-place play off encounter tomorrow.
