In a thrilling clash between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings in the IPL 2024, Mumbai clinched a nail-biting victory in the final over. Despite Mumbai's formidable total of 192/7, Punjab fought back valiantly, led by youngsters Shashank Singh and Ashutosh Sharma. 

The match came down to the wire, with Punjab needing 12 runs in the last over with power-hitter Kagiso Rabada at the crease.

Former Mumbai skipper Rohit Sharma took matters into his own hands, orchestrating the final over. In a viral video circulating on social media, Rohit could be seen leading discussions with MI's Akash Madhwal, alongside Jasprit Bumrah, Tim David, and captain Hardik Pandya who visibly appeared uncertain and clueless.

The conversation, primarily between Rohit and Akash, focused on crucial field placements. Although Hardik contributed, Rohit's guidance took precedence. 

The strategic deliberation proved fruitful as Rabada was run out attempting a risky double on the first ball. With his dismissal, Punjab Kings were bowled out for 183, falling short by 9 runs.

Rohit Sharma's astute captaincy and on-field leadership were instrumental in Mumbai Indians' thrilling victory, showcasing his tactical brilliance under pressure.
