Mumbai Indians' premier all-rounder Mohammad Nabi has indirectly expressed his dissatisfaction with Hardik Pandya's leadership in the ongoing Indian Premier League season.

Taking to his official Instagram handle, Nabi shared a cryptic post from an Afghanistan fan, who had slammed the Indian all-rounder for not giving a single over to the veteran cricketer during their group-stage match against Punjab Kings on Thursday evening.

The fan had questioned some of Pandya's on-field tactics, including that of not using a bowler of Nabi's calibre during the second innings.

The caption read,

"Some of your captain's decisions are very strange and surprise people!? Nabi didn't bowl today."

He had also lauded the Afghan maestro for his exceptional fielding efforts during the game, including a run out and two catches under pressure.

"President, game changer...At a very important time! Two catches and one run out. "

Notably, Nabi, who was purchased by MI for his base price of INR 1.5 Cr, is yet to prove his mettle with bat and ball for the franchise.

Despite being economical against Chennai Super Kings, he wasn't used for a single over in the last game versus the Kings.

Regarding MI, the five-time champions are placed seventh in the points table with three victories in seven matches. They will face Rajasthan Royals in their next game at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
