Pakistan's pace bowling sensation, Shaheen Afridi, has become a global superstar with his rapid deliveries that are accurate enough to rattle the best of the batters in the world. The left-arm pacer has been in terrific form, especially when he performed brilliantly against their arch-rivals India during the ongoing Asia Cup 2023, grabbing 4 wickets for 35 runs in his ten-over spell.
However, a video has emerged on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) where Afridi is seen fielding beside the boundary line, and some fans are distracting him by making useless statements.

The video went viral on social media, where the person wrote the caption, "This is what our players have to go through, no wonder they drop catches."
In the footage, a person is heard telling the speedster that they have done gym together, adding that they did bench press that day. Seconds later, another voice joins the mockery, and the guy starts calling Shaheen harshly. However, they could not generate a response from the tall bowler, who seemed to concentrate on the match thoroughly.
Moreover, such things are not uncommon on a cricket field where the sportspersons have to bear some cheap shots from spectators.
Returning to Asia Cup, Pakistan's match against India turned out to be anti-climatic, with rain playing the spoilsport as the second innings never resumed after the Men in Blue posted 266 on the board.
The Pakistan side have already qualified for the Super 4s and will now wait for their opponents to qualify from the group stage.
