In a significant development, experienced Indian batter Rishabh Pant has joined the Lucknow SuperGiants camp ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The franchise posted a movie-inspired edit to announce their captain's arrival ahead of the eighteenth season of the tournament. 

Rishabh Pant Makes Grand Entry In LSG Camp

This afternoon, the SuperGiants announced skipper Rishabh Pant's arrival in their IPL 2025 camp through a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). The video starts with Pant travelling by a luxury car, with the KGF movie's famous tune being played in the background. 

After reaching the SuperGiants' camp, Pant steps out of the car and mesmerises the fans with his iconic walk. He gets welcomed with drumrolls and eventually sits on a wooden chair, showing his swagger with a trademark punchline. 

He goes on to say, "Jo Lucknow rehne aata hai, woh shehar ke baare me seekhta hai. Aur jo Lucknow ka dil jeetne aata hai, Lucknow ko Rishabh Panti seekhata hai."

Rishabh Pant's IPL Team Swap In Mega Auction

Renowned for his scintillating stroke play, Rishabh Pant left Delhi Capitals and entered the mega auction pool, where LSG purchased him for a whopping amount of INR 27 Crores. 

The franchise eventually appointed him as their skipper, with LSG owner Sanjeev Goenka confirming the development. Pant has been a proven performer in the IPL and could help LSG bag their maiden title with his batting and leadership acumen.
