To the delight of cricket fans across the globe, the much-awaited eighteenth season of the Indian Premier League will commence on March 22. Ten top-tier teams will collide with each other for supremacy, with the coveted IPL trophy being at stake.

The IPL has always been a great platform for the young players to showcase their talent. As the IPL 2025 nears, here are three uncapped Indian stars who could win the Emerging Player award for this season.

1. Anshul Kamboj - CSK

  • Promising fast bowler Anshul Kamboj was purchased by Chennai Super Kings for an amount of INR 3.4 Crores in last year's mega auction.
  • Hailed for his excellent skills with the new ball, Kamboj was recently impressive in the Emerging Asia Cup. Furthermore, he looked sublime in the Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament, scalping nine wickets at a strike rate of 14 and a superb economy of 6.73.
  • The Vijay Hazare Trophy further elevated Kamboj's stature in domestic cricket, as the fast bowler bagged 17 wickets in just 10 outings.
  • With Deepak Chahar joining Mumbai Indians, CSK will heavily rely on Kamboj for a positive start with the ball. If the pacer plays all matches, he could be one of the top candidates to win the Emerging Player of season award.

2. Priyansh Arya - PBKS

  • Left-handed batter Priyansh Arya was one of the finest auction picks by Punjab Kings, as the franchise purchased him for INR 3.80 crores.
  • Arya recently grabbed the limelight following his stellar batting performances in the Delhi Premier League and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, as evidenced by the above stats.
  • There are high chances that Priyansh Arya will get a consistent run for Punjab Kings in the IPL this season. If he capitalises on Mullanpur ground's batting-friendly conditions, the youngster could be in the race for the emerging player's award.

3. Angkrish Raghuvanshi - KKR

  • Young Mumbai batter Angkrish Raghuvanshi has been a prolific performer for his team in domestic cricket.
  • After releasing Phil Salt and Shreyas Iyer, KKR's batting order looks slightly vulnerable. Quinton de Kock hasn't been at his best, averaging 19.9 in eight T20 innings this year.
  • Meanwhile, skipper Ajinkya Rahane has had a string of topsy-turvy IPL seasons. In such a scenario, KKR might consider keeping Raghuvanshi in their batting lineup.
  • The stylish right-handed batter had an impressive stint with KKR last year, scoring 163 runs in seven innings at a strike rate of 155.24. If he gets regular opportunities, Raghuvanshi has the calibre to deliver and establish himself as a prime contender for the emerging player award.
