In a heartwarming video doing rounds on social media, Rinku Singh was stopped by a fan while leaving the team hotel after trashing Australia in the five-game T20 series.

As players navigated their way out, Rinku heard a fan’s screams and spotted him in the crowd waiting by. The man owned a jersey that he wanted to get autographed by Rinku, and the latter obliged. He stopped, signed the jersey, and acknowledged the fan’s love and enthusiasm. 


Rinku Singh has been the talk of the town in India right now. His exceptional display of elite batting skills in the recently concluded T20 series against Australia has made him a household name in no time.


Rinku Singh Selected For South Africa Tour

Singh has played 10 T20s for India so far, wherein he scored 180 runs at an average of 60 while striking at 187.50. Owing to his success, the finisher made it to India’s white-ball squad for the forthcoming pivotal South Africa tour.

Undoubtedly, the tour will shape Rinku Singh’s chances of securing a place in India’s squad for the T20 World Cup 2024. The Southpaw made his intentions pretty clear and will go to any lengths to achieve that target.

Having said that, the South Africa tour will come with its own set of challenges. Adapting to overseas conditions is a different ball game altogether.
