They showed their potential and power in every bilateral series across formats, but whenever the stage came when it mattered the most in the last 13 years, they failed to deliver.

No wonder Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma -- two of the stalwarts of Indian cricket -- have been facing the heat for quite some time due to their continuous failures. In a recent interaction with Star Sports, Rohit and Kohli spoke about their ambitions, and at the same time, they also talked about fans' unparalleled expectations.

However, Kohli admitted that fans' demands are justified, given the fact that people across the country show their utmost passion for the game.

Kohli, along with other Indian superstars, will be in action in the USA and the West Indies, where the upcoming edition of the T20 World Cup, to be held next month. India have not won a single World Cup in this format since winning it in the inaugural edition, in 2007.
