The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) has seen some explosive performances so far with the bat but to remind you all, bowlers are not far behind with pacers leading the charts. Now, a video was posted on CPL's official X handle (formerly Twitter) where Pakistan's upcoming young fast bowler Salman Irshad could be seen wreaking havoc with the ball and what has caught the attention of fans is his action resembling Sri Lankan great Lasith Malinga.

Irshad, who has a slingy action has been able to bowl with great effect in the current edition of the Caribbean League. The Pakistani bowler has been able to nail the yorker on several occasions alongside uprooting the stumps with his incredible pace.

The Jamaica Tallawahs' pacer is also the current second-highest wicket-taker in the league with eight wickets to his name from four games while averaging 19, only behind Jason Holder.

The right-armer has been able to execute his yorkers to good effect and even managed to pick a four-for against Saint Kitts & Nevis Patriots.

Currently, Tallawahs are placed fourth on the table with five points from five games as they have managed to gather two wins so far.

Moreover, Salman represents Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) where he has been able to leave a mark.

Next, the Tallawahs will play against Trinbago Knight Riders on 3rd September at Kensington Oval in Barbados.
