During the first innings of the third T20I between England and New Zealand, Gus Atkinson, who was bowling the 19th over of the innings, pushed back the Kiwi's total. New Zealand was on 185 for three at the end of the 18th over and must be aiming for something around 210-215 with Glenn Phillips smacking the bowlers. But Gus Atkinson took just an over to grab two wickets.

With an impressive knock from Finn Allen who smashed 83 off 53 deliveries along with Glenn Phillips, who played a fiery knock of 69 off just 34 deliveries before becoming the first victim of Gus Atkinson. Then came Daryl Mitchell who faced four deliveries and scored eight runs but became the second wicket of the right-arm bowler in the same over.

Glenn Phillips was in a great mood and rhythm to give a perfect finish to his team, but it was the deadly unplayable yorker that speared into the stumps and sent the dangerous-looking Phillips.

Daryl Mitchell came in with a good intent to finish things off in his own style. After taking a couple of doubles and smashing one boundary, Daryl tried a scoop but missed the shot and nicked the ball to the keeper on the last delivery of the 19th over.

Here's the video:

Gus Atkinson, with two wickets saved at least 10-15 runs at the back end. He was the most economical among others, with giving away 31 runs in his quota of four overs. Also, with these two wickets, Gus is the highest wicket taker of the series with six wickets in just two innings. England have won the first two T20Is and winning this one will be a series win for the hosts.
