[Watch] Netherlands Players Praise Rohit Sharma Ahead Of World Cup Tie Against India

One team that has performed above their weight in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 is the Netherlands. 

With wins over South Africa and Bangladesh and a competitive match against Sri Lanka, the Dutch have displayed their talent and will face in-form India in their final World Cup 2023 game on Sunday at Bangalore.

Having won the ICC World Cricket World Cup 2023 Qualifiers, the Scott Edward captained entered the main draw without much international experience in the subcontinent and have used their limited resource quite well across matches.

Ahead of their match against India, several Netherlands players such as Edwards, Vikramjit Singh, Bas de Leede, Saqib Zulfiqar and Max O'Dowd have praised Rohit Sharma.

In a video posted by Star Sports, in anticipation of the India-Netherlands clash the Dutch players could be heard complimenting the Indian captain for his batsmanship, which sets him different from the rest, and also his role as a leader of the side.

 Sharma has lead from the front with his batting, having scored 442 runs with one century and two fifties. Team India have already qualified for the semi-finals, and will most likely play New Zealand.
