During the practice game for KKR, Manish Pandey showcased his prowess by launching a massive six off a delivery from Andre Russell.

Manish Pandey's journey has taken a significant turn as he finds himself back in KKR, the franchise where he experienced his peak performance in the IPL. 

Upon signing with KKR again, Pandey expressed, "It feels like coming back home."  Eager to demonstrate his value once again, he is putting in relentless effort during practice sessions to regain his top form.

With Gautam Gambhir's return to KKR, many foresaw Manish Pandey's signing in the auction. Released by SRH, Pandey was acquired by KKR for his base price. 

The anticipated reunion of Gambhir and Pandey evokes memories of the 2014 IPL final, promising an exciting chapter for the team.


Pandey's towering six off Russell Steals the show

In the warm-up match for KKR, Manish Pandey shone brightly with an unbeaten 51 runs from 24 balls. He delivered a massive six off Russell, a moment captured and shared by the KKR X page.

Back in 2014, Kings XI Punjab, led by George Bailey, were on fire in the IPL. They played some of the best cricket the league had ever seen. Their dominance left other teams struggling. In the final, they faced Gautam Gambhir's Kolkata Knight Riders.

In the final, Punjab batted first, and Wriddhiman Saha played an incredible innings, scoring 115 runs from 55 balls, setting a target of 200 for KKR. Despite the odds against them, Manish Pandey stepped up for KKR, scoring an impressive 94 runs from 50 balls and leading his team to victory.

With Manish Pandey returning to KKR alongside Gambhir, life has granted him another opportunity to shine on the field.
